BIG TVs
How Big Is Your TV?

Not only are TV's getting bigger and bigger, the quality of picture is improving and the cost is coming down. This is making them ever increasingly popular. At ATV we are here to advise on the right cabling, aerial and bracket to get the most out of your TV, as well having the brawn to help you get your TV onto the wall safely.
The minimum for an 85" TV for a quality picture is 4K. Newer to the market is 8K which doubles the quality of the resolution again. 8K TVs are becoming easier to get and as they become more affordable, they may well become the new standard. But, if you do choose an 8K model, you will need exceptionally good cabling and HDMI 2.1.
ATV specialise in understanding the needs of the ever growing TV, and are happy to do a free quote on making sure your new baby performs to its best ability by having the right support structure.
To get the full cinematic experience at home, people are choosing to wall hang their TV's but of course, the bigger the TV the heavier it is, and the thinner the depth of the TV, the harder they are to handle safely.
It is also important to use the right size bracket which is positioned correctly to take the weight of the TV screen. Trust us, recently we have heard lots of disaster stories of people thinking they can do it themselves and coming a cropper!! Our favourite is the man who tried to use a baton of wood and a 5 inch nail.....the outcome really was inevitable.
With some coming in at over 100lbs in weight, you need strength, skill and technique to manoeuvre the awkward shape of a large TV at head height. Our team, Blaine and Grant are a pair of strapping lads who also have the knowhow, the equipment and the experience to hang your TV without incident, hiding all wires and ensuring it is straight!
So if you are fancying a new big boy (TV) on your lounge or kitchen wall, then get in touch with Jayne in the office and she will book you in for a quote! Call 0191 252 4308.
